beta marketplace.
The problemA marketplace in beta. About a million lines of repeated, inconsistent code. Engineers struggled to change it; founders lacked confidence in the product.
My workI rebuilt it around a clear structure: shared views, 350+ tRPC endpoints consolidated into one REST endpoint, and rules for the work. About 30,000 lines in two weeks. Fresh agents compared the rebuild with the original and found it largely feature-complete.
